Product description

Certina’s DS-Concept of ‘Double-Security’ construction first came to be in the nineteenffties. This revolutionary concept was developed further and – in 1968 - resulted in a series of iconic automatic watches, of which the DS-2 Powermatic is the direct descendant. It is powered by a Swiss PowerMatic 80.611 movement with a NIVACHRON ™ hair spring. The retro-feel of the watch is enhanced by its ‘turtle’ shaped case and subtle, yet refined details, such as the date window, which offers a practical functionality but integrates seamlessly in the refined design. The DS-2 Powermatic is - of course – 20 ATM water resistant making it the perfect companion in a leisure, urban or more formal environment.
